Mrs. Bridgewater's Chicken Extravaganza

Mrs Bridgewater's Chicken Extravaganza is an annual fundraiser for the small community of Dixon Springs. The event honors Mrs Nannie Burford Bridgewater who was a world renowned breeder of Buff Orpington chickens. The extravaganza features a chicken display, chicken judging, arts and crafts, live music, antiques and a barbecue lunch served in one of the towns six restored old buildings. The event runs from 10 to 3 on the weekend before Memorial Day weekend.
